Conservation

Soil can be weathered away by several things. It can also be damaged by chemicals. This page will tell you more about the threats of soil.

Preventing Erosion

Soil is very vulnerable to the workings of erosion. Water or wind can carry soil away with it, and this can happen almost anywhere. There are ways to minegate the effects of erosion though. The easiest way to do this would be to plant grass or shrubs in the soil. The roots will grow into the soil and keep the soil in place, protecting it from erosion.

Preventing Pollution

Chemicals and waste from pollution can destroy soil. If you keep your yard clean, and if you don't pour chemicals on your precious soil, you should be fine. As a society, we can hold corperations accountable for their pollution, and ensure that they keep nature preserved.

Protection from animals

Lots of animals burrow in the ground, or dig up vegtables. To prevent this you can simpily put up a fence. It's pretty simple actually.
